Halloween might be over, but we’ve got some time (a day, maybe) to review all of the costumed mayhem before Christmas is everywhere. While there was plenty of queer Halloween excellence this year, one look in particular has already achieved icon status. Aussie musician G Flip and their partner, Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, recreated the lap dance scene from Troye Sivan’s “One of Your Girls” video, and the attention to detail had even Sivan impressed.
On Halloween, the couple shared the series of six photos in a joint Instagram post. In a near one-to-one likeness with their reference material, G Flip took on the role of Sivan in drag while Stause became a shirtless and ripped Ross Lynch via a convincing prosthetic chest piece.
“We haven’t stopped laughing since,” the couple wrote in the caption. “How’d we do?” Their followers had some thoughts on that front.
“I’M F*CKING SCREAMING,” commented Stause’s Selling Sunset co-star Chelsea Lazkani.
“Aaaannddddd my fave Halloween costume this year,” said L Word: Q Generation star Jacqueline Toboni.

Tommy Dorfman was all of us when she wrote, “Crying puking living dying over and over and over again.”
While some trolls (not the fun Halloween kind) did show up to sling some hate, G Flip refused to be bothered. “A really good way to piss off irrelevant homophobic people is to dress Chrishell up as a dude,” they commented with laughing emojis. “They can’t take it.”
In the end, everyone was waiting patiently for a sign of approval from one viewer in particular. Luckily, he didn’t keep us waiting long. Sharing the post on an Instagram story, Sivan commented, “This is so important.”
The hit costume was an impressive feat on its own, even more so for the amount of effort that went into it—especially considering that Sivan’s video had just dropped weeks beforehand. On a behind-the-scenes Instagram story, Stause revealed that it took both her style team and G Flip to squeeze her into the prosthetic. Likewise, G Flip had to turn to DIY fixes to get their costume to cooperate. “Zoom in on my nails for a little treat,” they added in the comments. “Taped those b*tches down.”
G Flip and Stause first met at a Halloween party in 2021. After happily marrying this summer, now they’ve come back to Halloween as a bonafide queer power couple.
