But if watching romantic slashers isn’t your thing, try staying in and cooking a themed feast with frilly decorations, loud music, and plenty of chocolate!

What should I do if I’m going out?
The best way to stay safe if you’re planning to attend a Galentine’s event or club is to keep your drinks close, have visible access to any exits, and make sure you stay close to friends. If you’re ordering drinks, make sure you’re closely watching the bartender and check what the drinks look like if you’re thinking about accepting them from someone. Watch for warning signs like excessive bubbles and drinks with a foggy or cloudy appearance. Keep yourself safe, and dance your heart out with your friends like it’s nobody’s business… because it isn’t!’ nobody’s business… because it isn’t!
What if I plan to be intimate with someone?
Maybe your love is more on the romantic side of things, and you want to connect with someone. Please use safe contraceptives before and during any intimate act. Condoms, toys, and lubrication are your best friends! Also, remember— it’s imperative to ask how recently your partner has been tested, and don’t allow anyone to suggest that consent isn’t sexy because it truly is.
Intimacy in all forms is so special, and if you have the opportunity to experience it, know that you’re undeniably loved.
