The Kendrick Lamar-Drake feud may be at an end, but diss tracks are forever. One rapper still reveling in the beef is Doechii, who dropped a remix of her song “Persuasive” mashed up with Lamar’s chart topping diss track “Not Like Us” during a live performance.
Fans captured the moment during a recent concert. In the viral video, the bisexual rapper gleefully struts across the stage, singing the hook, “How does it feel to be you?” She then launches into the final bars of Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” putting her question in another light.

Entertainment with an edge
Whether you’re into indie comics, groundbreaking music, or queer cinema, we’re here to keep you in the loop twice a week.
“Not Like Us,” the latest (and possibly greatest) of Lamar’s diss tracks, released earlier this month, breaking Spotify’s streaming records and debuting at #1 on the Hot 100 charts. Drake, meanwhile, released “The Heart Part 6,” which broke over a million dislikes on YouTube. With Drake signaling that he’s done with the feud, the media has declared Lamar the victor.
“Persuasive” was Doechii’s first single after she became the first female rapper to sign with major record label Top Dawg Entertainment (the same label that previously signed Lamar) in 2022. A remix featuring SZA dropped later that same year, and it seems Doechii is far from finished remixing the song for live performances.
While it’s no surprise she would back her label mate in the feud, Doechii is also no stranger to feuds herself. In April, the platinum certified rapper got into a small but saucy spat with artist Azealia Banks.
On Instagram, Doechii posted a carousel of images from a photoshoot and captioned, “Ok y’all… what should our fandom name be?”
Banks slid into the comments with, “Definitely should call them the ‘wannabe’s.’”
To which, Doechii clapped back, “The first time you came for me I let it slide outta respect for my elders. It’s not my fault you sellin bussy soap and I’m sellin platinum records. Leave me alone PLEASE.”
While it lacks the drama of a diss track, you’ve got to give Doechii points for a succinct burn.
These days, Doechii is too busy performing and recording new music for feuds. She recently dropped the single “Alter Ego” featuring JT of City Girls. And according to an internal document, she is among Top Dawg Entertainment rappers expected to release an album later this year.
