A rooftop party in Brooklyn took a chaotic turn when the DJ fell through a skylight, according to a collection of posts taking over Gay Twitter™.
Let’s start at the beginning: a Brooklynite named Willa was having a birthday party (with a cake that went viral of its own accord for being themed around “Clairo shade”).
That’s where Kyle Whiting, one of the party’s guests, came into play. Long story short, they apparently tripped and fell into a skylight in the middle of the party. The festivities quickly came to a halt, according to a series of posts from the party’s guests — and tragically, no one even got to try the Clairo cake.

The whole situation quickly caught the internet’s attention for its general queer chaos. That includes a drama-generating post where another guest named Garrett Charles lamented “not getting a video of the twink crashing through the skylight,” prompting Whiting to defend their honor: “For the record I don’t identify as a ‘twink,’” they wrote.

Party host Willa also chimed in on the topic, writing, “It was actually bisexual trade that fell through the skylight guys.”
Whiting, for the record, also posted to say that aside from 43 stitches in his leg, they’re perfectly fine. “It was over in about one minute,” they wrote. “I am very grateful for my friends who were there to clear the space and care for me.”
it was not that dramatic or entertaining for anyone curious. i tripped and fell and cut my leg and now have 43 stitches. there was a lot of blood and gore. it was over in about one minute. i am very grateful for my friends who were there to clear the space and care for me

The bright side for Whiting? The attention is a great chance to plug their upcoming DJ set at Old Flings, a cocktail bar in Manhattan, this upcoming Thursday. “You can see my scars and maybe give me a kiss,” Whiting posted.
