A post on Reddit has prompted hundreds of comments from gay guys. Posted on the askgaybros subreddit, it appeared to come from a woman.
“A few nights ago I caught my bf in action watching gay p*rn. I was shocked because he never gave me or told me that he’d watch that,” she began.
“He swears to me he’s not gay or bi and that it’s just a p*rn thing that has been happening for a while. I pried more out of him and he was even open that he’s been on Grindr and sexted other men,” she continued.
“I honestly don’t think he’s gay because the sex we have is great and he’s never struggled to get hard or anything. He also has a lengthy past with other women.

“I just want to hear second-hand thoughts on what experienced gays think lol,” she continued.
The gays did not hold back
Many flooded the comments to tell the woman that she or her boyfriend was in deep denial. Men who watch gay male adult entertainment to be aroused are unlikely to be straight.
“Ah yes, the classic heterosexual activity of watching gay p*rn & sexting with other men,” was a reply that earned over 1k likes.
“For men, your p*rn-watching habits are directly related to your sexuality. He may have told you he’s not gay, and in fact, he might even believe himself that he’s not gay, but 2+2 = 4. If a man is getting off to nothing but naked men getting it on… it’s very safe to assume he’s aroused by men and therefore (by definition) attracted to men. I mean it’s not like there are any women in gay p*rn getting him aroused lmaoo,” said another.
“I was married to a woman for 12 years,” said another. “When I looked at p*rn, I almost always looked at gay p*rn. The reason for this is that I am gay.”
Bi or pan
Many others said the man is either bisexual, pansexual, or at the very least bicurious.
“There is a chance he is bi, at the very least. Unfortunately, this is something that he would have to come to on his own terms. Truly cannot get this out of him. He will most likely tell you what you want to hear, but from my experience, he is still probably figuring it out,” said one person.
“Well, I would agree that he doesn’t sound gay,” said another. “But he certainly sounds at the very least bicurious and maybe outright bisexual if he’s feeling more than he’s letting on.”
“He is bisexual and probably doesn’t want to out himself,” added another responder. “If you’re not against him being bisexual, I’d definitely talk to him more about talking with other men on a hookup app, tho. Idk whether he met someone, but I’d be suspicious.”
The original poster added an edit to say her boyfriend had informed her he’d not been on Grindr since they’d been together. She said she “would end it immediately if he was.”
She has now deleted her account but the original post remains up. Here’s hoping she got a clear answer from the hundreds of replies and can work things through with her man.
