Nancy Mace came for this trans influencer for … being hot?

When she’s not telling transphobic lies or trying to keep her fellow congresspeople from using the bathroom, Representative Nancy Mace is apparently busy harassing trans folks on social media.

In a viral TikTok with more than 300 thousand views, a trans influencer and teacher named Sabre shared how she’d inexplicably caught Mace’s attention.

“I had such a glow-up on HRT that I am now officially an enemy of the state,” she began. “Nancy Mace, the current representative for South Carolina and the same person who yelled slurs in Congress, is bullying me for being hot on Twitter.”

Back in February, Sabre posted two selfies, one from 2020 and one from 2025, showing her transition. “God I love estrogen,” she wrote in the caption.

Somehow, nearly a month later, Mace found the post — was she searching for the word “estrogen” on social media to find ragebait? On her official government account, Mace reposted Sabre’s selfies with the caption, “Estrogen doesn’t love you.” And on her personal account, Mace reposted Sabre’s selfies again, this time tagging Robert Kennedy Jr. and writing, “Can we get @RobertKennedyJr on this? NO way is this healthy.”

Sabre marveled at the ridiculousness of the situation: “A sitting member of the United States government went onto a random citizen’s Twitter account to bully them on a transition timeline they posted a month ago on her official Twitter account. In the United States of America, if you glow up, they will hate you,” she said.

Sabre also revealed she was targeted by “alt-right butch grifter” Becky Weiss, who posted a video to her hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers claiming that Sabre is unfit to be a teacher and demanding her personal details.

“What grade are you teaching? What’s your school district? What’s their phone number?” Weiss asked in the video. “I have questions.”

“Not only did she start a witch hunt on me,” Sabre explained, “but she got her followers to send me dozens of threats.”

Sabre also highlighted a nonsensical reply Mace left under her own post: “Cos-play homophones, y’all! Male/mail, hair/hare—a new-knew flop!”

“She’s actually just kinda losing it. I’m not sure what she’s trying to say, but she’s certainly saying something,” Sabre said, and indeed, we have absolutely no idea what point Mace was trying to make.

“If you’re ever wondering why our government is currently collapsing, it’s because I’m too hot,” Sabre concluded. How nice to see that representatives like Mace are using their platforms to address important issues, like criticising private citizens’ selfies.
