Kerry Washington is Endlessly Delightful in ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Segment, “Mad Lib Theater”

I think we can all agree that Kerry Washington is just like, one of the best people. So it’s no surprise that during a hilarious segment of The Tonight Show, she was a joy to watch. Jimmy Fallon has an acting segment called “Mad Lib Theater” where his guest will provide answers to a mad lib and the two will perform a scene together based on the words provided.

Washington’s answers range from “spectacular-icious” to “Not today, Satan” which I like to believe is a Bianca Del Rio reference. The actual scene is a parent-teacher meeting with Washington as the teacher and Fallon as the parent, which is appropriate as Washington worked as a substitute teacher before she got her big acting break.

The scene is hilarious, but what it makes it even better is when the duo break character from laughing too hard which is basically every ten seconds.

We don’t usually think of Kerry Washington as a comedy actress, but if she can hold a scene with Jimmy Fallon, she definitely has the chops. Plus, with Scandal ending, maybe we’ll see more comedy in the brilliant actresses future.
